Terms & Conditions

1. PRE-BOOKING ONLY

Online booking is essential. Participants MUST pre-book their class space prior to the event. We will be unable to accommodate drop-in attendances.

2. PAYMENT

Pre-payment is required at the time of booking through the Class 4 Kids booking system for our classes.

Merchandise can be purchased at class and payable by cash or bank transfer, alternatively Merchandise can be pre ordered, please contact moomusictina@outlook.com if you would like to pre order any merchandise.

When booking using a discount code, each code is only valid for the specific booking types or promotions they are issued for. Misuse of discount codes (e.g. applying them to booking types not specified) will result in the order being corrected and the outstanding balance becoming payable before the booking is confirmed.

3. LIMITED CLASS SPACES

There is a maximum number of children in each class, this can sometimes change due to the size of the room we are using or other factors but once the number is reached the class will be full and we will not be accepting any other bookings for that class. Please note that only 1 adult per booked child is currently able to attend, to avoid overcrowding.

4. CANCELLATION BY MOO MUSIC

If a class has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative class, where possible. If this is not possible, we will deduct the price of the number of classes cancelled from your next term's fee. If you are unable to make the alternative class(es) or you do not book onto the following term, no refund will be given.

NON-ATTENDANCE BY CUSTOMER

If you are unable to attend your usual session, it may be possible to attend a different class or venue during the same week. This is only available for term bookings and must be discussed and agreed with the class leader in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you, but spaces cannot be guaranteed.

For pay-as-you-go bookings or one off events and specials transfers are not available. Moo Music is under no obligation to refund or transfer your booking if you are unable to attend your pre-booked class.

5. HEALTH & SAFETY

Please do not bring prams/pushchairs/car seats into the venues, if possible. If arriving by car, these should be left in your vehicle. If arriving on foot to the venue, where there is allocated buggy parking, please leave any prams/buggies/car seats there. The exception to this is when siblings under 7 months old are attending Mini Moo classes only & a sling is not being used, car seats may be brought into the room if you are planning to leave your baby in it for the duration of the class.

You are welcome to wear face coverings if you wish.

Please do not stand on any mats provided with shoes on. Socks must be worn.

Please move away from the class area promptly at the end of the class, to allow time for cleaning between classes

If there is any reason that you cannot participate in any activity, medically or otherwise, please feel free to adapt the class leaders instructions to suit your ability.

If you are booking onto a session where there may be food and drink items like Messy Play or Moo and a brew you must declare any known allergies or intolerances as part of the registration of your child, Moo Music and Tina Brown, cannot be held responsible for any instances where you or your child may come into contact with said allergens. If you do state allergies or intolerances and your class leader is unable to accommodate you because of them you will be contacted in advance of the session to advise and provide you with a full refund.

6. CLASS RESOURCES & PROPS

All props are cleaned/sanitised with antiviral products before reuse.

If you would prefer to bring your own props to class, please contact contact your class leader by email or phone at least 24 hours before the class to ask what props are required for sessions. Please bring these in a bag. We politely request that you leave them in the bag until such time as we advise they are to be used for the purposes of the class.

Regularly used props may be available to purchase (such as shakers, juggling scarves, foil blankets & more), please ask for more information.

7. CLASS PARTICIPATION

Please join in with your little one during class as much as you are able and, to protect the class leaders from losing their voice, we politely request that you refrain from chatting to other parents/guardians during classes. Your children will love your attention & enjoy this bonding time so much more having your full attention too!

8. SUPERVISION

Parents/carers are responsible for the supervision and safety of their child(ren) at all times during sessions. Moo Music staff and class leaders are not responsible for your child.

Please ensure you actively supervise your child throughout the class. They love it when you join in, so don’t be afraid to help, encourage, and join in with the actions yourself!

For Messy Play sessions, full supervision is essential to ensure children do not eat anything they shouldn’t (which could pose a choking risk) and to prevent slips, trips, or other accidents. If your child is seen running or engaging in behaviour that could cause harm to themselves or others, you will be made aware. If this continues, you may be asked to leave the session and no refund will be given.

Food MUST NOT be consumed during the class as we need to be considerate of choking hazards and allergies of others in the class. It also adds to our already extensive cleaning regime.

Adults MUST NOT bring hot drinks to the class. Please also ensure you take responsibility for yours and your child’s own cold drinks too, to avoid spillages and to prevent another child drinking from them.

9. CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENE PRACTICES

Moo Music Tameside & Glossop has always placed great importance on cleanliness and hygiene, but our cleaning regime is even more rigorous in the light of COVID-19, and we ask for your support in this. We recommend that you bring a small blanket/muslin square for smaller babies to lie on during class, to protect against soiling our mats/the floor, as well as protecting your little one against any invisible soiling/germs from on the floor. Please ensure you let us know if anything is accidently soiled during class so it can be dealt with – we know little ones can sometimes be a little bit sick or have a nappy leakage and that’s ok – we will be able to sort the problem, but we need to know about it.

Please remove shoes BEFORE taking your allocated place on any mats. Please ensure socks are worn at all times.

10. TOILETS AND HAND WASHING FACILITIES

There are toilets in all our venues. Please try to use these before class to avoid moving around the room/missing part of the class. Where there are no disposal facilities available at venues, please pack any soiled nappies/wipes in an appropriate bag & take them with you to dispose of them at home.

Please leave the toilets/baby change facilities as you would like to find them yourself and report any issues with the facilities to the venue staff so they can be dealt with.

11. FIRST AID/EMERGENCIES

Basic first aid will be available in the event of an accident or emergency. However, parents/carers are responsible for supervising their children at all times and remain primarily responsible for their child’s safety.

12. CLASS LEADERS

All our class leaders are trained to our high standards. Generally, you will have the same class leader weekly however this is subject change due to illness, holiday and any future expansion.

Our current class leaders are all fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

14. ILLNESS, XLOSURES AND ONLINE CLASSES

In the unlikely event that classes cannot run in person due to illness, venue closure, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances, your session may be replaced with an online class. Where an online option is provided, no refunds, credits, or merchandise will be given in replacement of your normal class. Online sessions may be recorded and made available to watch back for a limited period. By booking, you agree to this arrangement.

Moo Music Tameside & Glossop holds no responsibility or liability for any illness (including infectious diseases) contracted before, during, or after attending sessions. Attendance is entirely at your own risk.
